We want to act on regenerative solutions for our seas, land and people. Alongside natural dye plants, we also grow fruits, vegetables and salads as surplus to be donated to local community organisations supporting disadvantaged members of our community. Individuals will be able to come and grow their own food whilst being supported by building meaningful relationships, inspired by eco-friendly business models, gaining horticulture and aquaculture experience and being signposted to local organisations that can support their individual circumstances further. Our user audience is primarily Care Leavers. A care leaver is a young person aged 16-25 years old who has been ‘looked after’ at some point since they were 14 years old, and were in care on or after their 16th birthday.
