Our aim is to give all residents within our community an accessible space to all in which to build a garden that betters mental health by having a space to reflect, feel calm and engage with a wider community network. We want to enhance local children's learning and nurture family relationships through positive interactions within a neighbourhood environment.
The project will give the children of Coylton a place to nurture their own garden and grant them the opportunities to learn how to manage and potentially fund their own garden, all good skills for the future. Our village care home will benefit through raised bed gardening opportunities and engagement with other community groups. The garden project will enhance the village and give residents different opportunities and promote health and wellbeing within the community and hopefully beyond.
