At Heaton Place, our gardens and outdoor spaces are much more than simply pleasant surroundings – they are at the very heart of our community. Residents, volunteers, staff and local contractors all play a part in creating and caring for the beautiful environment that we enjoy together.
We are often described as a "Hidden Gem". Tucked away in a quiet corner of Rhos-on-Sea, many people do not realise we are here. However, when visitors discover Heaton Place, they are invariably struck by the quality of our surroundings and the pride that residents take in them. The gardens are often one of the first things people comment on.
Our site includes colourful flower beds, attractive communal gardens, seating areas and a wildlife pond. These spaces provide opportunities for residents to enjoy nature, relax outdoors and spend time with friends and neighbours. Many residents take a keen interest in the gardens, whether by helping to water newly planted flowers, sharing ideas for improvements, supporting gardening projects or simply encouraging others. We are also proud to support local environmental initiatives and work alongside local partners in promoting and enhancing the appearance of our community.
