We are really excited to welcome Pam Warhurst of Incredible Edible and Greg Frey of OrganicLea to share more about the Right to Grow movement and how it can ease the process for communities to access Local Authority land for community growing. Greg will provide an update on local activity in Waltham Forest, while Pam will be able to update us on the campaign take-up nationally as more Local Authorities respond to its asks.
The gathering will be introduced by our very own Lucie Taylor (MRTPI) who coordinates our Community Land Advisory Service in Wales, and will provide some context on barriers many communities face when trying to secure land for growing.
As with all our Member Gatherings, this is an opportunity for member's to share their thoughts, ideas and concerns too, but everyone is welcome to just listen in as well.
