Joy will talk us through her experience of working with NHS trusts and green care providers, including SF&G members, in Buckinghamshire and how this experience can help to inform SF&G members in other areas who are looking to work more strategically with NHS bodies - particularly around mental health care.
This session is suitable for SF&G members who are providing mental health care services and are interested in how they might better navigate a relationship with their local NHS Trust.
About Joy:
Joy is currently the VCSE Mental Health Collaboration Lead for Buckinghamshire leading an Oxford Health funded research project into collaboration for community mental health outcomes. She is a Trustee for SF&G and a former Care Farm Director. Her 2020 Churchill Fellowship focused on the Benefits of care farming for farmers, local communities and rural economies across Australia, the USA, Europe and the UK. Joy has over 20 years’ experience in education and inclusion.
