Member Gathering - The power of growing out of the margins

Shaping and developing employment and education opportunities for youth and marginalised groups in a just and agroecological food system.

Through sharing learnings from her Churchill Fellowship focused on urban agriculture and diverse engagement models, Antonia will explore using growing spaces as inspirational and radical spaces for cultivating connections for teenagers and offering impactful opportunities for marginalised groups.
Through examples of creative and bold approaches from other countries, the session will showcase how urban growing can offer both a vibrant field that feeds communities and a powerful tool for education, empowerment and positive food futures for youth.
