What you will get:
2 - 3PM: Past work and future plans
Hear from Cardiff’s Community Growing Groups on tackling climate change with their communities to inspire your own work
Space to tell us what you want for yourselves in the future.
Recently in Cardiff, community growing groups have been working to welcome new members to their sites and to take their first steps into taking climate action. Has your group been doing this, and if so, how?
Next, as Social Farms & Gardens prepare a fresh application to support you in the future, Lisa wants to check-in with you. Are your challenges, support needs, issues and strengths similar to previously stated ones? Or have previously identified challenges and successes grown or changed overtime? What would really benefit your organisation over the coming years?
3 - 4PM: Surgery and Networking Time
Lucie Taylor who runs the SF&G Community Land Advisory Service (CLAS), will be on hand for any queries about gaining land agreements and permissions (including planning).
Lisa Williams, SF&G’s South Wales Development Worker will also be around to talk with you and answer any questions you might have.
And finally...
This is a great opportunity to have a look around the beautiful site at Railway Gardens and to reconnect with fellow Cardiff growers.
Come along, be inspired and let us know what you REALLY want and need!
Will there be cake?
Yes! Plus, tea / coffee and biscuits.
