Growing Together supports businesses and community growing projects to establish partnerships that work for both parties.

This event is aimed at businesses of all sizes who have an established CSR programme and are looking to increase their impact, or who want to streamline their community engagement programme and align it with core business priorities.

  • create a volunteering programme that develops staff and engages customers
  • bring your employees and local communities on your carbon reduction journey
  • harness the value of long-term relationships
  • establish an employee-led workplace growing project

Speakers from Marks and SpencerStride Treglown and Alec French Architects will share their invaluable experiences (both good and bad!) to help your company make positive decisions about its future community engagement. The focus will be on the multiple benefits to be gained from community gardening including improved health, skills development and environmental awareness.

You will also hear from a selection of carefully chosen local green space charities and projects. They will describe the opportunities available to work alongside them to support the work they do.

A guided site tour of WIndmill Hill City Farm will also be available to get first hand insight into one of Bristol's premier community and environmental destinations.
