Fundraising Training with Rachel Schwartz
Rachel is a professional fundraiser, Secretary of the London City Farm and Community Garden Association, and former Director of Kentish Town City Farm.
What: Together we will look at fundraising policy, strategy and plan, including prospecting, and relationships with trusts, businesses and philanthropic individuals. (We won’t be covering crowd-funding or raising money from members of the public). We'll look at bid writing and how to find and communicate the right kind of information for each stakeholder, be it ward statistics, heart-warming stories or the strength of your track record.
Where: Vauxhall City Farm
When: Friday 18th June 2021 9:30 am - 4.15 pm, with a social until 5.15ish.
Who: This training is suitable for all staff, volunteers and trustees. If you are a small organisation that is entirely voluntary-led you may find the training is not quite the right level for you. Please get in touch and we can advise.
Fees: The event fee is £30 per organisation and includes lunch. We would never want to exclude organisations on the basis of payment so please get in touch if needed.
This will be held in a well-ventilated room with lots of space, and we will be outside when we can.
The day includes a social lunch and a chance to relax with a cool drink at pretty Vauxhall City Farm straight after the training.
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
