Social Prescribing Day - 14th March

Social Prescribing Day takes place on March 14th and it's an annual celebration of the people, organisations, and communities who make social prescribing happen.

Sometimes called a community referral, social prescribing is a way to link individuals with non-clinical activities within their community to help improve their health and wellbeing.

For those of you who work with green social prescribing, it's a great opportunity to shout about the brilliant work that you do, as well as highlight the impact of social prescribing and raise awareness of what it is.

You can get involved by hosting events, showcasing your work on social media or simply sharing what you're doing online with the hashtag #SocialPrescribingDay

We were delighted to have Martyn Richards from Agriton lead this informative workshop on the composting practice; Bokashi. For those who weren't able to attend, we have published a recording of the session on our YouTube channel. Thanks again to Martyn for sharing his knowledge, and do let us know if you have a go at trying bokashi.
