Rejuvenation Garden
Rejuvenation Garden is a community project (situated in the space between southern ends of White St and Blaker St) initiated by a Brighton group called Amex Area Neighbourhood Forum. For many years residents close to a patch of unused ground expressed the desire to take it over as a community garden. This idea came to fruition recently and, having set up a Community Interest Company (CIC) Rejuvenation Garden CIC requested that Brighton & Hove Council give a lease over for use of their land. The garden will develop slowly as a space to enjoy for its trees and wild flowers and provide additional services to the community as a space for occasional summer community events. For the most part it is a green space for neighbours and others to either enjoy as they pass or become active as one a number of gardeners that maintain it.
