Using the unique 10,000 acre outdoor classroom of the Lee Valley Regional Park, The Youth and Schools Service provide a diverse range of outdoor learning programmes for schools, post 16, special needs and youth groups. The activities , including minibeast hunting, river studies, plant studies and team building activities , aim to engender a sense of ownership and understanding of the natural world, drawing on internationally important nature reserves and a wide array of species and habitats. All sessions are led by experienced staff and are Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge approved.
