London members spotted!

Mila from Cathorpe Community Garden sits on a step. Subtitles say 'this is a community space for all of us.'

We've spotted our London members around town, on TV and in magazines this month.

Castlehaven Community Association and Hackney City Farm both feature in Too Much on Netflix. Eagle eyes will see Castlehaven's football pitch with the food garden in the background, and Hackney City Farm features heavily in an Indie gig scene.

Calthorpe Community Garden, near Kings Cross, features at the Wellcome Collection in Euston. An exhibition called Thirst: In Search of Fresh Water showcases Calthorpe's Black Mary's Well Project. This community history project partners with artist Gaylene Gould to celebrate Mary Woolaston, a 17th century Black healer and businesswoman who ran a Healing Well in the area.

The Thirst exhibition also features some rewilders from Beirut and it's great to watch the film of Lebanese people doing amazing urban planting near a busy Beirut highway. https://www.sugiproject.com/forests/beirut-riverless-forest

If anyone's been on the Eurostar you may have spotted the feature on South London which highlighted Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses, and also Lambeth Country Fair, which Vauxhall City Farm bring a mobile farm to every year. Eurostar often feature our members, which is great.

Thank you to all these organisations for featuring London's farms and gardens.

Have you considered hiring out your space to a production company, or sharing your work with local museums and galleries?
