We had an excellent day on Tuesday 28 April at our Intro to Accessible Design and Woodworking workshop.
This training was a collaboration between the Woodshop of Recycled Delights fantastic trainers and Social Farms and Gardens London team. With thanks to St Mary's Secret Garden for hosting.
We toured the garden observing and considering how our green spaces can be made more accessible for the people who use and enjoy them.
We learned how to use saws, drills and other tools safely and effectively in the garden to improve and maintain our spaces.
We built two raised beds together, from recycled timber, that are already in use at St Mary's Secret Garden.
...and we had a lot of fun!
