***** Working towards the Green Care Quality Mark *****
We have been a city farm with free entry and open to all since 1978, with a large and wide-reaching education program, rare breeds and rescue animals, farmyard activities, animal care opportunities, and gardens growing a wide range of seasonal fruit and vegetables. We are also currently running a wellbeing project working with referred local community members who experience higher levels of isolation or social exclusion, engaging them in ecotherapy and horticulture tasks once-weekly as farm volunteers, also offering a monthly cook-ups creating and eating dishes made from food we grow on the farm and donated by the food charities we partner with. Our farm has a large volunteer community which is inclusive and community-focused.
