We are a local community group based in Bamber Bridge in Lancashire and we want to beautify the village to make Bamber Bridge Bloom Again!
Our initial aims were to show how the growing of healthy food 'organically' and the encouragement of wildlife and its natural habitats could work hand in hand at any site and that everyone has an important part to play.
Our main help in the early days came from young people with learning difficulties. This involvement changed our main emphasis and whilst still pursuing our original aims we now offer help and training to those clients involving an NVQ in Horticulture. Through involvement with local Day Care Centres we now offer Horticultural and Equine "therapy" for those with more severe difficulties.
