Saffron Walden County High School has a small farm unit that is used for extra curricular activities (the Farm Club), the teaching of BTEC Animal Care and Horticulture for students in local schools and as a resource for other subjects, as well as by the local community. Facilities include a livestock house, workshop and cattle yard, commercial and span greenhouses. Produce includes vegetables, salad, fruit and herbs. There are also shrubs and trees.
