Trinity Academy Newcastle Trust (previously Oakfield College (Trinity school) is a Multi-Academy Trust which incorporates a Pre-16 Special Converter Academy (Trinity Academy Newcastle), a Post-16 Converter Academy (Trinity Solutions Academy), one private limited company (Trinity Post-16 Solutions Ltd) and more recently a sponsored Academy (Trinity Academy New Bridge). We have a school farm on site at Trinity Academy Newcastle which is accessed by most students as part of their curriculum. Our students are from a variety of different backgrounds including having special educational needs, learning difficulties or learning disabilities, social emotional and mental health difficulties, young carers, previous exclusions from other schools, long term illness or absences. Students access our farm for a range of reasons - to engage in education, outdoor learning, sensory purposes, to calm down, to gain qualifications or use as part of English and Maths lessons. We also offer a BTEC Land Based Studies qualification at Entry 3 or Level 1 - award, certificate or diploma.
