Ouseburn Farm, situated in the East End of Newcastle, is a free visitor attraction that boasts an award winning, environmentally friendly visitor centre with pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits,
guinea pigs, meadows, ponds and woodlands. The Farm offers training to vulnerable adults, volunteering opportunities for local people and a range of activities for families and schoolchildren.
Our charitable objectives are:
Advancing education by providing social, recreational, agricultural, environmental, art, craft, training and workshop facilities for public benefit.
Relieving the needs of people with disabilities, both mental and physical, by providing training and workshop facilities.

Sheep (Jacob), goats (Anglo-Nubian), pigs (Tamworth), poultry (Cream legbar, Araucana, Dutch silver bantams), rabbits, guinea pigs


Take the metro to either Byker Metro/Manors Metro, walk towards Byker bridge and follow signs for the Ouseburn, walk down a steep bank (Byker bank) You will see a group of pubs at the bottom of the bank and the farm is the large wooden building with large iron gates.
The Quay link buses run to the end of the quayside and the farm is a short walk from there.
