Eastfield Primary school set up a working farm in 2006. The school keeps pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits, all of which are looked after by the children and the local community. They grow various crops in school and have a thriving farm and gardening club each week. The aim of the project is to let children understand where their food comes from and how to look after animals.
