We provide a relaxed environment where working and learning is fun. We encourage opportunities to grow your own food on small plot set aside, for healthy eating and exercise. It is important regardless of ability or disability everyone feel welcome and gets involved. On a Wednesday in the warmer seasons, we gather at the Community Garden to work alongside our volunteers, some of whom are the more vulnerable people in our local area to have fun and to do the collective projects and jobs in the Garden.
We are always looking for new ways especially with our youth, to provide opportunities to learn about how to grow our own food, and to understand our environment, thereby encouraging a development of knowledge, and care of, our wild life by providing habitats, food and environments for them.
