Chiswick House Walled Garden
The vast walled gardens at Chiswick House were created in the late 17th Century but until recent years the once grand kitchen garden lay neglected. Initially revived through a successful community volunteer initiative, the garden has been managed by Chiswick House and Gardens Trust since 2010. Volunteers are gradually reviving this wonderful secluded garden with historically accurate vegetable and fruit beds, propagation and planting.
The walled gardens at Chiswick House are not part of the public park but they can be visited and enjoyed on our regular open days – please check for open days www.chiswickhouseandgardens.org.uk
Chiswick House and Gardens Trust is an independent charity supported by the London Borough of Hounslow who own the gardens.
