The Golden Hill Community Garden/Horfield's Accessible Allotment and Edible Forest
Proud winners of the Bristol Green Volunteers Project of the Year Award 2012 - a new and exciting community garden. This beautiful and productive garden is also packed with innovation – from a wall built out of recycled tetra paks to an innovative and unique solar pump scheme. This project is a great example
of how to grow lots of food on boggy ground. There are two polytunnels as well an edible forest full of fascinating plants and trees. The site is fully accessible including toilet, disabled parking available on request.
Open Wednesdays 10am-4pm
Come find us just through the gates at the end of Monk Rd, behind Horfield prison and Bishop Rd Primary School. If you can't see anyone we're probably all drinking tea in the shelter. Follow the boardwalk by the pond and past the two polytunnels.
