Core Landscapes a Core Arts project
Core Landscapes transforms under used sites into vibrant community growing spaces to benefit mental and physical health for all who engage with the project. It is part of Core Arts a leading mental health charity working across the arts, sports and horticulture.
We use horticulture and engagement with the natural world to enable people who experience mental health issues, and the wider community, to overcome barriers, fulfill their potential and participate fully in their community. We have a roof garden and micro plant nursery, street level garden, 7 tree pits and street planters, meadow area and community orchard in nearby Homerton Grove and are developing a new community garden nearby.
Historically a meanwhile project we have moved through 4 different sites across 3 different London boroughs in the past 10years.
