Hartshill School is a comprehensive school teaching students from years 7 to 11 (GCSE). We presently teach animal care to years to 9 on a rotation with other DT subjects. We also teach level 2 animal care Firsts as BTEC for GCSE students. I am doing a coures in animal assisted therapy and hope to take targeted students using this process next year. We have a range of animals including sheep, reptiles, birds and small mammals.
