The Serpentine Community Farm Community Interest Company is a derelict Council plant nursery site in the centre of Buxton. It was established in March 2015, with the main objectives as follows: 1) To restore the area to a functioning market garden, producing fruit, herbs and vegetables for sale in local venues, plus a share for volunteers; 2) to evolve into a training and teaching centre involved in experimental, demonstration and horticultural projects; 3) to involve the wider community in using the site to its best potential.

Take the lane signposted Serpentine Walks off Burlington Road (across the road from the entrance to the Pavilion Gardens car park).
The farm shares an entrance with the old Council Parks Depot. Go up the track to the left of Serpentine House. Then bear right and head for the greenhouse.
