We started our school farm in June 2016. Currently we have a pets corner, some donkeys, chickens and goats. We now have a fulltime farm manager in place who teaches the children about animal husbandry. The farm is very therapeutic for a few children who have emotional needs.
We are now expanding the farm and this year we will be having pigs and more goats and chickens. We are also having a small farm shop for the children . The children will grow, salad and fruit crops in our polytunnel and green houses and the children will sell these in the shop which will help with maths and English skills.
