The Back Garden

It is a community fruit and vegetable garden, it is a non profit making organisation which is run/worked by volunteers. We are constituted and have a small committee(G3 Growers) who oversee the smooth running of The Back Garden. Members work the whole garden, then share the produce upon harvest. We also work with local nursery/primary schools, sharing advice and motivating each other.

Opening hours:

Monday - 2 pm until 4:30 pm, Wednesday - 12 noon until 2 pm, Thursday - 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm, Friday - 10 am until 12 noon.
From October until March The Back Garden is only open on a Monday and Friday, see our Facebook page for any additional openings.

Directions:

No. 2 "First bus" will drop you on Argyle Street at “Lebowskis” if travelling East, walk around the block to Brechin Street, if travelling West you will be dropped at “Day Today”, cross the road walking East to Berkeley street, 1st right is Brechin Street.
No. 3, 7, 19 & 747 "First bus" will drop you on Sauchiehall Street at or opposite Royal Crescent, walk East to Claremont Street, take a right onto Berkeley Street then 1st left is Brechin Street.
Trains will take you to Exhibition Center, Follow Minerva Street right round to Argyle Street, cross the road and walk West to Kent road, 1st left you will find Brechin Street.
