We run a community garden and cafe, plus traditional masonry and life skills training (including cooking, budgeting and nutrition). We also provide support for those facing a range of challenges, helping people overcome barriers to move from dependency to contribution. We collaborate with other groups across all our projects, including local foodbanks to save food from landfill, to encourage healthy eating on a limited budget and strong community links via shared cooking/eating experiences. The garden offers a range of volunteering/training opportunities, with our latest venture being the creation of a Sanctuary Garden as an inter-generational project between local school pupils and groups supporting those living with dementia.
