CFCG is a 1 acre site on a new suburban development on ex Greenbelt arable farmland in Cambridge. The developers will eventually release the land to the local council, whilst it is expected that the site will be run and managed by volunteers. The local community are being asked to contribute to the design of the basic facilities being provided (a building for storage, boundaries/gates and some lighting/signage). However, there is no funding for plants/landscaping or activities/events. A volunteer management committee is emerging and a constitution will be ratified once that had happened.
