We are the Grow Club, a community garden with an emphasis on well being. We run led gardening sessions on Fridays from 10-12 and have a shared lunch on the second Friday of every month. Our focus is on growing herbs for teas, which we drink whilst we work. Our aim is to grow the bowling green in Barking park which we call home into a biodiverse and alive space where we can enjoy nature and support the local ecosystem. We are doing this slowly, with permaculture principles in mind. We are directly connected with the other projects organised by Company Drinks which include workshops, talks, events and day trips, which are free and open to all.
