Get up and Grow
Our social enterprise aims to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community; teach and train the local community on how to grow and nurture plants and vegetables; provide social opportunities for local community engagement through the provision of gardening, cooking and nature-based crafts and activities and to improve community cohesion by supporting hard to reach, vulnerable and minority groups through a range of horticultural activities.
Our USPs include:
• We can provide clinical interventions for mental health, dementia and adults with learning difficulty clients and support their recovery or ongoing health issues
• We are fully trained horticulturists with added training in Forestry schools and Social and Therapeutic Horticulture
• We can deliver the City and Guilds Basic Skills in Horticulture Level 1
• Evaluation skills and measuring social impact and outcomes
