We are a new emerging initiative that is seeking school status. We are based on a beautiful site in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by an organic farm. Our ethos as a school is to nurture within children a reverence and love for nature and wildlife that continues to inspire a sense of responsibility that continues throughout their lives.
Our plans are to develop meadow areas for inscects and bees, permaculture gardens and an area for animals - rehoming chickens and a couple of donkeys.
We are aiming to work with volunteers from the local community with a key ambition to engage with the older generation.
We also work with our neighbouring farm on reducing food waste by using vegetables that haven't sold at market to make 'less than perfect veg boxes' offered for donations to local community.
