Our care farm project provides an opportunity for people with learning difficulties, mental health problems or challenging behaviours to work and learn in a safe environment. On our family run farm, vulnerable young people and adults can practise 'hands-on' farming. We offer a day facility that provides a healthy environment for mind and body, whilst becoming involved in a caring rural community. We are open 3 days a week, and run Activities for School age children in the holidays. We are situated four miles north of Cirencester, in Gloucestershire, with parking on site. On our four acre site we have a large poly tunnel, where we grow salads and vegetables, and use for wood working in wet weather. Outside we have a series of raised beds for vegetables and a fruit cage and there are ducks, chickens and hens that roam the field during the day. We have a flock of Wiltshire Horn Sheep, and an Oxford and Sandy Black sow that farrowed in April. We offer 'taster' sessions to prospective students, to make sure they are going to enjoy their experiences here.
