This group was set up to promote the Social, Economic, Cultural & Environmental aspects of the Moneyneena area of Draperstown in South Derry. We have been in operation for the last 25 years, have built a community hall and managed a range of programmes and activities through voluntary effort. Our projects centre on the delivery of local services and local people. More recently we have installed a community gym, community playpark and are currently piloting a community garden scheme on the site (we currently operate on a 2 acre site and are fundraising at present to purchase an adjacent 6 acres to develop as a community park). Additionally we are working in partnership with the local Mid Ulster District Council to gain access to the nearby Moydamlaght Forest (additional 700 acres) which will link the forest to the village/hall and allow for further health and recreational opportunities.

Facilities: Cafe, Volunteering, Community space for hire, Picnic area, Community recycling/composting, Play area, Play activities
