As a primary school, our aim is to give children, of all backgrounds, an opportunity to become engaged with the outdoors. We hope to create a space outdoors which will give hands on experiential learning opportunities. This could be achieved by bringing all areas of the curriculum outdoors, grow own food, living life cycles, natural processes. We aim to being the greater community surrounding the school into its projects. We hope to show and benefit from increase well-being, confidence and empathy within everyone working on the projects. Outdoor classroom, children in permaculture, increasing biodiversity, growing heritage varieties of foods, connecting to history.
