A proposed community workshop and hub facility which will aim to deliver extensive skills in workshops, landscape management and horticulture, for all age groups. Surrey County Council has expressed an interest in this development to support young people. With the support of Ben Spencer MP, DEFRA have agreed to lease the site to the project for a peppercorn rent for both buildings and 8 acres of land. The group have applied to become a registered charity and are also in negotiation for an additional 8 acres of ancient woodland adjacent to the site which is owned by a local farmer who supports biodiversity and rewilding.
