We support for black, asian and ethnic minority (global majority) leadership, entrepreneurship and enterprise development. The former 3 acre plant nursery at Wolves Lane has commercial glasshouses, a rare palm house with tropical plants, cactus garden, rainforest area, professional standard kitchen, classroom space, barn and woodland area. The buildings and glasshouses are in need of refurbishment which the consortium has committed to in-development stages as well as investment in sustainable energy systems to heat the palm house.

In May 2019, The Wolves Lane Consortium was officially formed. Ubele, along with Crop Drop and Organiclea, are now legal partners and ‘stewards’ of the 3 acre site. This will enable us to:
* build community engagement,
* support leadership development and
* co-create social business offer at Wolves Lane.

It also means that Ubele is now located on a site which it can support and help create as an example of ‘good practice’. Started in December 2020, the Rootz into Food Growing project aims to build a network of BAME-led growers pan-London who will receive relevant skills development and training opportunities enabling them to grow commercially.

Facilities: Cafe, Volunteering, Shop, Community space for hire, Sustainable/Green building on site
