Petal Project is part of Stanmer Organics in Stanmer Park Brighton. We are currently working the land (it has been untouched for the past five years) and making space for a community creative art space. We grow wild flowers, which are then turned into pictures, resin jewellery and made into beeswax candles. We also harvest clay from the ground and create pottery. The wild flowers are all UK certified organic, which encourage the population growth of local pollinators.
We run the workshops for the learning/physical disability community and for parents who lost their children to adoption through care proceedings. However, the space is open to all.
