Gatis Community Space aims to provide a safe and inclusive centre that puts community at the heart of its diverse projects. Empowering people, enabling change and creating a sustainable future. To achieve this we have taken an old adventure playground and turned it into a community hub that is run by a combination of self-employed community members and volunteers which is overseen by the company's 9 volunteer directors. We are providing a community cafe and garden, children's play areas, nature areas, community hall, a range of regular activities and groups that support community needs and utilise a 'pay as you feel' and 'pay it forward' ethos to support all members of our community. Our activities are mainly based around the outdoors, nature, food and play as these are the things that bring people together.
