We are planning on having allotments, polytunnels, metal and wood working areas, cafe with games and craft rooms, nature walks and a number of specialised gardens. The centre is going to be for everyone but mainly concentrating on the older generation who are lonely, depressed and feeling isolated. I'm hoping for a few farm animals to help people with mild dementia as most of the older generation grew up with these and so might help with anxiety. We will be open 365 days of the year so that people can feel like they are not only part of the community, but also part of a family.
