We are the Cyfeillion (Friends of) Ysgol Y Bannau, the Welsh Language Primary School for South Powys. We raise funds that are used towards supporting Ysgol Y Bannau and it's activities.
We, together with Ysgol Y Bannau, Cylch Meithrin Aberhonddu, Y Gorlan and Neath Port Talbot College, have begun developing our school grounds and a piece of scrubland that adjoins our site into a sustainable green space for our community to use for learning and play. Our learning space includes rewilded areas, a community orchard, a pond, a green woodworking space, forest school areas, a growing area and we are currently working on a sensory green space for foundation phase children.

Our community aims to nurture the Welsh Language through formal, informal and community learning.
