Good Life Garden is a community garden led by volunteers and overseen by Peabody through Making Space for Nature Project. Our garden includes over 15 raised beds, a poly tunnel and a mini-orchard. A mental health café runs every Thursday. There is not a designated picnic area, however there are sitting areas in the garden that can be used in this purpose. A part of the site is accessible to those with disabilities. The accessible side includes the facilities and raised beds.

The garden is open every Thursday and the Peabody's gardener in residence deliver regular drop-in sessions on this site for residents and tailored educational sessions can be delivered for schools and organised groups. The dates and timings can be found on the link below:

Peabody, together with Groundwork and the Mayor of London, is working in partnership with the local Thamesmead community to introduce new ways of using and enjoying our beautiful green space. The parks and public green spaces are a great place to exercise, have a picnic, or just get a bit of fresh air, and we’d like to help you get the most out of them.
As part of our project we manage 4 community gardens across Thamesmead. Their aim is to encourage residents in food growing and gardening activities:
- Lakeside Centre Garden, Bazalgette Way, SE2 9AN
- Hawksmoor Growing Club, Claridge Way, SE28 8AS
- Edible Garden, Maran Way, DA18 4BP
