My proposal is to create and help facilitate a community wellbeing garden on the grounds of Manchester Medical. To encourage patients and the local community to embrace community cohesion with open arms, to help improve their Mental Health and Wellbeing; through the means of Growing their own Fruit and Veg. This in turn will help improve their physical fitness help reduce Heart Disease and diabetes through the means of growing their own fruit and veg. It will also help tackle childhood obesity and Dental Caries by teaching them how to grow their own fruit and veg. Due to Covid my thoughts were to limit footfall and perhaps have groups of up 8-10 people at a time
