Prospect House Garden CIC manages a small, once private residential property garden to the rear of premises now used as an accountancy practice at Prospect House. We plan to develop a community garden offering day-time sanctuary and recreational facilities to residents and workers in central Launceston.

Its objectives include:
- Developing the garden as an open-air or glass house venue and amenity for community groups, including schools and children, day centres and the disabled or socially excluded, local horticultural societies and interest groups, including creating and running or leading community growing programs in the garden and events;
- Providing community access to the heritage planting of the garden, including the provision of information and education about and engagement with the planting;
- Using the garden to provide a low-cost outlet for the goods and services of disabled or otherwise socially excluded entrepreneurs.
- Promoting in the vicinity of Launceston horticultural activity as a mental health repairing activity, particularly in respect of the conditions of stress, anxiety and depression.
