Wickham Community Centre is a charity based in rural Hampshire. It is one of the most deprived wards in Winchester District. The centre runs a number of projects, including a community fridge (to tackle food waste), a community pantry (to support families and individuals who are struggling) and a community garden. The garden runs open days, activities, and is open access so that local people can come and harvest whenever they wish. It is run by volunteers and aims to be completely sustainable. We want to eventually become self-financing by offering services to agencies in relation to social prescribing.
