The Fosse Road Diggers share a passion for regenerating our local area through community gardening. We are a group of neighbours who started digging and planting the unkept flower beds in front of our local shops, and the group has expanded as more passers-by have joined. We now go out most weekends and many neighbours stop and chat to us as we work. Social cohesion in the area has improved and the more pleasant and family-friendly environment invites less anti-social behaviour.
