To make food accessible, sociable and sustainable by enabling the community to gain skills in growing and cooking. The aim is for the Community to be involved from ‘grass roots’ of the food chain. Not for profit – to re-invest all financial surpluses in community projects and assets. The differences we would see would include an increase in resident’s skills and confidence, a wider range of opportunities to meet with others, improvements in self reported well being, reductions in self reported isolation / loneliness, a stronger sense of community and pride in the local area.
