We are a ‘Friends Of’ group that work to promote and support activities at Wilton Lodge Park in Hawick. We also provide volunteering opportunities at the Walled Garden in Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick which is a historic garden that has transformed over the years from a show garden with bedding plants to become a fruit and vegetable garden with sustainability, biodiversity and organic growing practices at the heart of everything we do. We host 5 volunteer session weekly and work with a diverse range of people from the local area. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to grow, and have been practicing the no dig gardening method for a couple of years now with success.
