Leadburn Wood is an area of former raised bog and conifer plantation purchased in 2007. We are rewetting and rewilding the area, whilst creating a pleasant and varied location for the public to visit. We have planted native tree species, started to restore two areas of raised bogs, created large ponds, and retained some open grassland and wet habitats.
